Sean Caple

Sean Caple
Director of Hockey Operations

Sean Caple has spent more than 45 years in hockey, including over 20 years coaching and helping players develop. A USA Hockey Level 5 Master Coach and Hockey Canada Intermediate Coach, he brings a wealth of experience to the Denver Jets, but what he enjoys most is helping kids find their confidence and discover how much fun hockey can be.

Sean spent 15 years with the Arapahoe Ice Warriors and Front Range Panthers in roles that included Director of Hockey, Director of Player Development, and Head Coach. The past 4 seasons, he was part of varsity coaching staff at Valor Christian. Along the way, he has led hockey schools and skills clinics, presented at USA Hockey coaching clinics, and helped introduce children to the sport through NHL All-Star and NHL Cool Schools events.

Growing the game has always been important to Sean. As an original board member of the Jamaican Olympic Ice Hockey Federation, he worked with the NHLPA to bring its Goals & Dreams program to Jamaica. He also stays connected to the next levels of hockey as an Area Scout for the El Paso Rhinos (NAHL) and an Amateur Scout for The Pro Hockey Group.

With the Jets, Sean’s goal is to build a program where kids are excited to come to the rink and families feel welcome. Guided by USA Hockey’s American Development Model, our 8U program focuses on fundamental skills, small-area games, and plenty of opportunities to play. Just as important are the friendships, confidence, and sense of belonging that come with being part of a team.

Sean’s and the Denver Jets philosophy is simple: Athletes first, good people always, hockey players second.
